new year’s is my favorite holiday so i figured i had to make a post…
especially as i’ve just finished cleaning up my room for tet… yes it’s still somewhat dirty and i realize i’m hella late, but hey, it’s the thought and effort that counts.
so forreal, chuc mung nam moi, may the new year see you well, may the sky and the earth guard your footsteps, may the cherry blossoms bloom at your passing, may your eyes feast on beauty, your ears on nightingale songs and your heart on only happiness.
speaking of nightingale songs… i’ve hacked into my old myspace music account and uploaded a few really barebones tracks. you’d never get what the password is. it took me two or three years to. it’s amazingly simple. i psych myself out sometimes.

and yes, the chapbook is being worked on, bit by bit. and is coming along… i’ll be previewing some of geoff’s dope dope art as time progresses.

i’m thinking of doing some music, no not vietnamese pop, though i think i would look damned good dressed up like some of those kpop heads.
rather, i’m looking for kinda slower instrumentals to write song lyrics to, both in vietnamese and in english… think more johnny cash or dropkick murphys than dbsk.
